Admission information for Master’s Program for October 2015 and April 2016 Admissions

[Graduate School] 

 The Graduate School of Engineering is now distributing the admission information and application booklet (boshu-yoko) for the master’s programs of October 2015 and April 2016 admissions.


Before starting the application process, you are required to first contact the prospective supervising professor of your selected research field in order to receive his or her approval of your intention to apply.


All applicants for the Graduate School of Engineering Master’s program need to submit one of the official score certificates of following English proficiency tests taken after June 1st 2013;

_Official Score Certificate of TOEIC SP (Secure Program) test

_Examinee Score Report of TOEFL-PBT (Paper-based test)

_Examinee Score Report of TOEFL-iBT (Internet-based test)


Please note that we do not accept TOIEC-IP and TOEFL-ITP test scores.

l  General Selection;

General selection accepts both Japanese and non-Japanese applicants who meet one of the required qualifications described in the above booklet. Prospective applicants include; international students studying at their own expense, Japanese government (MEXT) scholarship granted students expected to graduate Japanese universities, non-Japanese applicants with visa other than student visa at the time of application, and overseas residents.


l  Special Selection for Working Adults;

This selection is not applicable for international students.


l  Special Selection for Foreign College/University Graduates;

This selection accepts both Japanese and non-Japanese applicants who have graduated or are expected to graduate from foreign college/university by September 2015.



< Application Forms >

Applicants are required to submit the officially printed Application Forms of A1/A2, B1/B2 or C1/C2 enclosed in the admission information book (Boshu-yoko), along with other required documents. Please note that the downloaded forms of A1/A2, B1/B2 or C1/C2 is considered to be invalid.

As for the Application Form, and the Photo ID Ticket and Admission Ticket for Examination, each format has different setting depending on the timing of admission; A1/A2 for General Selection, B1/B2 for Special Selection for Working Adults, and C1/C2 for Special Selection for Foreign College/University Graduates. You must use a correct format that corresponds with the appropriate selection type of your choice .


All application documents must be submitted in paper form and cannot be sent electronically.
